Muthayammal College of Arts & Science:

Muthayammal College of Arts and Science was established in the year 1994 at Rasipuram in Namakkal District by Muthayammal Educational Institutions (MEI).Started initially with 5 departments, in a short span of 10 years it has blossomed into a great center of higher studies. At present there are 14 degree courses at the under graduate level and 13 at post graduate level. Research facilities leading to M.Phil, and Ph.D., are available in the Department of Biotechnology, Microbiology & Biochemistry.

The college is situated in a calm rural area with a serene environment. However, it attracts students from far away urban towns and cities like Lucknow, Nagpur, Nellore, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Calicut, Trivandrum and Port Blair etc...

The college endeavours to provide all the students best education coupled with discipline. In order to mould the students into ideal and talented individuals competent to meet the harsh challenges of the most competitive present world, many extra curricular programmes are carried out.
