A separate library is functioning in Centre for Biotechnology from the academic year 2002-03. This library has a collection of books, journals and softwares on topics related to the Life Sciences.

The library will be kept open on all working days between 9.00am and 7.00pm. All books except those marked 'reference' belong to the lending section. Journals will not be lent out. The library has excellent Xerox facility, which is indeed well patronized for its efficient delivery and reasonable rates.         Rules

The library is subscribed in more than 26 national and international journals. The CBT is a Life member of All India Biotech Association, New Delhi and Biotech Consortium India Ltd., New Delhi.

The library accommodates nearly 2500 volumes of latest books related Biological Sciences. A calm reading hall makes the students to utilize the library facilities.

The library also contains nearly 600 research thesis from our Research Scholars and PG students.

The library is also maintaining CD collection of Books, Databanks and Softwares related to Biological information.

The CBT also offers Internet facility to the Scholars and Students through its Bioinformatics Laboratory. The students can learn softwares and can access e-journals and electronic resources.
